“I’m supporting Michael Negron for 47th ward alderman because I know that he will fight for a Chicago that works for everyone”

I’m proud to have the support of my friend and former boss U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren. Throughout my nearly 15 years in public service in federal and local government and in the U.S. Navy, I have never forgotten where I came from.

As a lifelong Chicagoan and son of a Puerto Rican autoworker and Guatamalan CPS teacher, I am deeply committed to a vision of Chicago as a city of opportunity where everyone can get ahead. I am a proud progressive with a real record of developing and implementing initiatives that have supported working families, from playing a central role in raising the minimum wage in Chicago to helping develop a free community college program for CPS students who graduate with a B average. As alderman, I will put my experience to work advocating to fully fund our schools, keep our communities affordable, and make our streets safer. Join me.
